As the Marketing Consultant, you will be responsible for supporting the Marketing Manager in the implementation of marketing and communication plan to support the achievement of the Malaysia Business Plan. This includes leading on content creation, internal communications, event management and marketing campaign execution through CRM & Marketo. You will also support market profile and positioning activities with local Business and Industry Associations.

The Opportunity

• Support the Marketing Manager in the implementation of the local marketing plan, campaigns, and initiatives (includes supporting the implementation of initiatives led by Regional Marketing Managers being implemented in Malaysia).
• Develop compelling project stories, award submissions and other market facing content through background information gathering, sourcing visual assets, developing clear copywriting briefs. Editing and proof-reading content to ensure error free and high quality and co-ordinating required business and client approvals.
• Provide internal communications support and guidance for local leadership requirements in line with Arup’s internal communications strategy and channels
• Event management in collaboration with the Malaysia Leadership and Office Support teams to deliver exceptional client events, manage Arup attendance at third party events, manage event requests and briefs.
• Maintain the local marketing calendar

Is this role right for you?

• Relevant experience in a similar generalist marketing and communications role within a B2B or B2G/ services-based context in a matrix organisation.
• Knowledge of, and interest in, the built environment.
• Attention to detail and understanding of the application of brand visual and verbal identity guidelines.
• Strong copywriting skills.
• Demonstrated event management experience and use of CRM and marketing automation systems for digital marketing campaigns. Experience using Marketo highly regarded
