Roles:

Responsible for developing and implementing marketing strategies to promote the overall companys products, increase brand awareness, and drive sales. Additionally, the Head of Marketing is also responsible for driving the success of a central kitchen and OEM production factory by developing and executing marketing strategies that enhance brand visibility, drive sales, and foster customer loyalty.

Primary responsibilities may include but are not limited to:

  • Brand Strategy: Developing and implementing brand strategies to differentiate the companys products in the market and build brand equity. This includes defining brand positioning, messaging, and identity.
  • Market Research: Conducting market research to identify customer needs, preferences, and trends. Analysing market data and consumer insights to inform product development, pricing strategies, and promotional activities.
  • Product Marketing: Developing marketing plans for new and existing products, including product launches, pricing strategies, and promotional campaigns. Collaborating with product development teams to ensure that marketing initiatives align with product features and benefits.
  • Digital Marketing: Overseeing digital marketing initiatives, including website development, search engine optimization (SEO), social media marketing, email marketing, and online advertising. Leveraging digital channels to reach target audiences and drive website traffic and conversions.
  • Content Creation: Developing engaging and informative content to educate consumers about the companys products, highlight their benefits, and establish thought leadership in the industry. This may include blog posts, articles, videos, infographics, and other multimedia content.
  • Advertising and Promotion: Planning and executing advertising campaigns across various channels, including print, broadcast, digital, and social media. Developing creative assets, negotiating media buys, and measuring the effectiveness of advertising efforts.
  • Public Relations: Managing public relations efforts to enhance the companys reputation and visibility in the market. This includes building relationships with media outlets, drafting press releases, organising press events, and responding to media inquiries.
  • Trade Shows and Events: Planning and coordinating participation in trade shows, industry conferences, and other events to showcase the companys products and services. Managing event logistics, booth design, and promotional materials.
  • Partnerships and Sponsorships: Identifying strategic partnerships and sponsorship opportunities to expand the companys reach and influence. Negotiating partnership agreements and managing relationships with partners and sponsors.
  • Customer Relationship Management (CRM): Implementing CRM systems and strategies to acquire, retain, and engage customers. Segmenting customer databases, developing targeted marketing campaigns, and measuring customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Market Expansion: Identifying opportunities for market expansion and growth, including new geographic markets, distribution channels, and customer segments. Developing marketing strategies to penetrate new markets and acquire new customers.
  • Competitive Analysis: Monitoring competitors marketing activities, product offerings, and market positioning. Analysing competitive strengths and weaknesses to inform marketing strategies and identify areas for differentiation.
  • Budgeting and ROI Analysis: Developing and managing marketing budgets and allocating resources effectively to maximise return on investment (ROI). Tracking key performance indicators (KPIs) and conducting ROI analysis to evaluate the effectiveness of marketing initiatives.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including sales, product development, operations, and finance, to align marketing efforts with business objectives and ensure integrated marketing campaigns.

Requirements & Skills:

  • Education: A bachelors degree in marketing, business administration, or a related field is required.
  • Industry Experience: Extensive experience in marketing, preferably within the food production or manufacturing industry. To have a solid understanding of the industrys dynamics, consumer behaviour, and competitive landscape.
  • Leadership Skills: Strong leadership and management abilities for overseeing marketing teams and driving strategic initiatives. Capable of inspiring and motivating staff, fostering a collaborative work environment, and leading by example.
  • Strategic Thinking: The ability to develop and execute strategic marketing plans aligned with business objectives. Ability to have a forward-thinking mindset, with the capacity to anticipate market trends, identify opportunities, and formulate effective strategies to capitalise on them.
